Art Reports™ are designed for ease and accuracy in documenting the condition of artworks and objects for galleries, museums, private collectors, artists, auction houses and arts-related businesses using state-of-the art iPad™ technology.
An object’s condition status is evaluated by five specific types of damage categories that can affect an object: Impact, Structural, Surface, Environmental Damage and Infestation. Art Reports allows multiple images to be easily marked-up with a menu driven selection of condition terms creating shareable PDF reports.
Recorded for both reports is the 10 fields of basic information about the object including : artist’s name, title, date, medium, dimensions, framing status, inventory number and other reference numbers.
The Condition Report is used by registrars, collections managers and art handlers to create a full professional and comprehensive assessment of the current condition of an object. It is an ideal tool for use in documenting individual objects, a complete collection or an extensive exhibition inventory. 80 condition terms are available and organized within five categories of analysis: Impact, Structural, Surface, Environmental Damage and Infestation. It provides for 4 image views of an object (front, back, right and left sides) and 8 site-specific detail image views.
The Inspection Report is a condensed condition report for documentation for handling, shipping and insurance. This report facilitates documentation of the most pressing issues inherent with an object. Useful for pre- and post-transit documentation, on-site damage documentation/evaluation, collections management and conservation survey assessments and assembly assessments for art fairs and expositions. This report also provides a signature page as a release or receipt document. 28 terms are available and organized within five categories of analysis: Impact, Structural, Surface, Environmental Damage and Infestation. It provides for 1 full image view of the object and 4 site-specific detail image views.
