On a cool spring morning in April 1955, a group of businessmen took an early stroll through a secluded area of woods and farmland in Warrick Country, Indiana. Majestic oaks and pines rose up to greet the visitors, curious forest animals scurried through brush, and native flora wafted a sweet aroma in the breeze. The men were searching for an ideal section of land to create a golfing paradise. Ironically, they were in the community of Paradise, Indiana.
