Egyptian Siga® is a three-in-a-row game similar in principle to Tic Tac Toe. The difference is that Egyptian Siga® uses 3 movable pieces per player instead of written “X” and “O” marks. Note that each player has only 3 pieces.
3x3 square grid and two 3-piece-sets. One set per player (We can Call them Xs and Os).
The goal of Egyptian Siga® is to be the first player to get three in a row on a 3x3 grid.
Players draw a board, creating a 3x3 grid of squares.
Each player sets his/her 3 pieces horizontally on the row in front of him/her on the board, leaving the middle row empty.
At all times, there will be 3 empty squares on the board.
Player 1 (X) goes first, moving any one of his/her pieces on one of the three empty squares in the middle row.
Player 2 (O) moves any one of his/her pieces on any of the three empty squares on the board.
Players alternate moving their pieces on the board until one player has three in a row, horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Each player must move all of his/her pieces before any player can win.
Players keep moving their pieces until a player wins. The game never ends in a draw, unless both players agree to quit playing.
