Works on iOS6 & iOS7 with iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone5S, iPad 3rd Generation, iPad 4th Generation, iPad Mini, iPod Touch 5th Generation.
No pre-configuration is necessary just screw in a Robosmart bulb and start the Smart Lights app to control each Robosmart Bulb. Starting the app commences a scan process allowing Smart Lights to find nearby Robosmart bulbs. Smart Lights then automatically connects to nearby Robosmart bulbs and thereafter you can control your Robosmart bulb from the Smart Lights interface.
A simple list of the bulbs is displayed at the main view and at the main view you can set the dimmer setting and control on & off of each Robosmart bulb. Each listed bulb has it's own detailed view in which you can assign the Robosmart bulb a unique name, grouping, or room location. Also from the detailed view you can setup a timer for controlling when your Robosmart bulb automatically turns on and off, and read back the total power consumption your Robosmart bulb. You can setup the time with which you want the light to ramp on or fade off with the Ramp control. With Auto-On you can control if you light turns on when you come home and how bright you want it to light.
In Smart Lights advanced screen you can securely configure the Robosmart bulb for privacy by entering a passkey unique to each Robosmart Bulb. With privacy enabled only iOS devices running Smart Lights with the correct passkey can control the Robosmart bulb. On the advance screen you can chose to change the default passkey for extra security. LIght bulb firmware updates are also accessible from this screen.
Also available is a refresh button on the main view to update the list with any new Robosmart Bulb.
