The application supports recording positions in the background for devices supporting multitasking. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
The current version will request lower accuracy positioning from your device when running in the background to try to conserve battery life. Future versions of the program will allow precise configuration of the quality of the received signal in all situations.
