Residents of the SCAQMD, which includes all of Orange County, and the urban portions of Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties, suffer from the worst air quality in the nation. The SCAQMD application provides the public with air quality data and other useful information. The application features the following functions:

Air Quality at a glance - provides real-time and forecasted air quality data for up to 20 cities within the South Coast Basin. A list of favorite cities can be added as favorite places with detailed air quality and forecast data available for each city.
Detailed Air Quality data - provides detailed air quality data for each saved city. Information include current and forecasted Air Quality Index (AQI), the last reading time, the main pollutant used to calculate the AQI, and health related information.
More Details - each favorite place provides a More Details link which provides detailed information for both AQI and concentrations of all pollutants monitored for the current hour, Yesterday’s Data, Daily High, and Historical Data.
Integrated Weather - in addition to providing air quality information, this application also provide real-time and forecasted weather condition for each favorite place.
Interactive Air Quality Map - provides real-time view of air quality over the South Coast Basin. Air Quality is reported over 38 Source Receptor Areas (SRA). Tapping on each SRA can provide detailed air quality for that region.
Configurable Air Quality Notifications - Receive optional notifications when air quality changes in your selected areas. Also provides the ability to customize the Air Quality notification threshold for each city.
Health Alerts - provides the optional ability to receive health alerts and advisories from the SCAQMD during adverse air quality events.
Alternative Fuel Map - provides interactive map with locations, directions and details on alternative fueling stations from Department of Energy’s Alternative Fuel Stations database. (i.e. - natural gas, hydrogen, electric, and propane)
SCAQMD Alerts, Announcements and Events - list air quality alerts, announcements as well as events including Governing Board meetings, conferences, town hall meetings, and workshops.
Help Cut Smog - provides an opportunity to report Air Quality Complaint, Equipment Breakdown, and Smoking Vehicle by phone.

SCAQMD is the largest air district in the country and is responsible for cleaning our air and protecting air quality for approximately 17 million people living in an area of over 10,000 square miles.
