Simply select your instrument, and create a personalised syllabus (eg with scales for ABRSM etc), and the app can listen to you practice while you read the notes on the staff, turning the note green when you get it right. Need help with fingering? There are charts for showing fingering in Tab format and in Fingerboard format to help you see where you're putting your fingers.
The app supports phones and tablets, landscape and portrait orientations, and pinch-to-zoom controls to make the music staff (and optionally fingering controls) easily visible while you play.
The app supports scales and arpeggios incluing Major, Minor, Chromatic, Pentatonic and Dominant Sevenths, in any key and for up to three octaves.
There is also a "Test me" page, where you play back what you've learned based on the name of the scale, and see how we'll you've done afterwards on the staff and with a score.
