There is an option in the settings that lets the service to disable bluetooth after each scan saving the battery. This option might not work on some devices. The service can be started/stoped from the menu. To run the scanning manually, enable bluetooth/wifi and press "Start discovery" button. Reports are available in the /sdcard/wireless-monitor-reports directory.
