1. Imam as-Sadiq (a.s.) said: Whoever recites it often would neither be affected by the evil eye of Jinn in his worldly life, nor can there be any effect on him of sorcery, now can any harm occur to him through any kind of machination or Satanic action of the Jinn.
Also the reciter of Surah Jinn would be in the company of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) and his Progeny (a.s.).
2. The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) said: Whoever recites Surah Jinn, for him there is great reward and the person who recites Surah Jinn would remain safe and protected from Jinn.
Surah al-Jinn
This ‘makki’ Surah has 28 ayaat. It is narrated from Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) that frequent recitation of this Surah is a protection from Jinn and the reciter will be in the company of the Holy Prophet (S) on the Day of Resurrection. This Surah also protects one from the evil actions of an unjust person.
Prisoners secure early release by reciting this Surah and those who recite it properly will never face poverty or starvation. Keeping this Surah in one’s possession ensures safety from the Jinn, victory in debate or confrontation, and safety of possession and wealth. Debts are also easily paid back.
Whoso recites this surah often times would neither be affected by the evil eye of Jinn in his worldly life, nor sorcery would harm him, nor jinn would be able to give him any trouble; and he would live in the company of the Holy Prophet in paradise.
ii) Whoso recites this surah would get the reward equal to the reward given for freeing as many slaves as the number of all those jinn who believed in the Holy Prophet and those jinn and devils who disbelieved in him; and jinns would run away from the place where this surah is recited.
iii) If a person goes to meet a man-in-authority after reciting this surah he would not be harassed or victimised by him; and if a prisoner recites this surah he would be soon released easily; and if a man in trouble recites this surah his worries and troubles would soon disappear.
