Fishnatic is an application focusing on the specific needs of fisherman. The aim is to connect fisherman all over the world but also to give privacy as all functions can be just used for private purpose. Every fisherman can digitalize his catches, places and tackle, in his activities, fishing diary and tackle box and create his personal history of his famous hobby - fishing

Anglers who post their catches and informations will get points, this allows to create a ranking of all users. Every user can see his national and international position. Being active, make good and complete posts will allow every user to develop his position and he can start to compete with friends and other users.

Making a catch post and giving the catch information the app is also registering the weather conditions which will allow to make catch forecasts. If the angler is offline he can still make a catch post and the app will record his information until he will be online again to edit the catch information.

The catches will be shown in the interactive map. The map has many functions and filter settings. It shown fishing shops, places where to get fishing licenses or boat rentals and also all other users if they set the status public or just for friends, if the status is set that only friends can see them for maximum privacy it can be also set on stealth. Of course it shows also the catches. User can see which fish species are common in some areas and going then into the catch see more details of the catch. The map is a great tool to plan fishing trips and to find good fishing spots. The catch view on the map can be customized to the fishing method or fish species so for example carp anglers can just see in the map carp catches if they set the filer or fly anglers catches which are posted by fly fisherman.

User of Fishnatic can create their own fishing team and as the captain lead this team or become a member of a team of follow teams all over the world, see their results, activities and achievements. In the team mode can be also started the team communication by the chat function of the application. It allows to stay in touch with friends or exchange information during fishing trips or contact some famous anglers to get their advice.

In the function friends of the app are all existing friends shown and also invitations as well there is the search function to look for other users.
Fishnatic app is also focusing to inspire anglers to go more fishing and be more active. Therefore the function battles is very unique and gives lot of options and possibilities to individuals but also organisations or brands to set up in the app battles. Everybody who set up a battle can plan is as private battle then he must invite the users to participate of as open battle then everybody can join it. He must set the rules and regulation for the battles. Once the battle starts the app is counting the catches of all anglers in the battle and give also information of the ranking then the final results will be shown. The battle function is shown future battles, ongoing battles and already finished battles. This function gives unlimited possibilities and allows to compete borderless and makes it very easy to set up competitions. The function Battles has three different views, by country, by friends and mine.

In the profile every user can find all related information in one place. His ranking national and international, his biggest catches, results in battles, catch statistics by year and month, his catch diary, his posted catches, his tackle box and battles where he took part.
Fishnatic is a social networking app and as more users will share their catches and information as more the app will be able to give back to all users like catch forecasts, most successful and uses fishing gear and baits and more… be active become a Fishnatic.
