Apple Mountains (Retro Style Fractal)

The calculation routine is from the year 1987 and was originally programmed by me on the 8-bit Atari-XL computer. The complete source code was published in the Atari Magazine 04/87.
"Apple Mountains" create fractal mountains, as it were in 3D Mandelbrot set, which required on the Atari-XL up to several hours computation time. More for fun, I've implemented this routine now on Android.

Through various movements, it is possible to change the parameters and thus the views:

Horizontal: shifts left/right (XL/XR)
Vertical: shifts up/down (YO/YU)
Diagonal: strain/distortion (XC/YC)

Especially the diagonal movements create very interesting new formations.

The parameters displayed have the following meanings:
XL/XR: X-left and X-right represents the horizontal position.
YO/YU: Y-up and Y-down stands for the vertical position.
XC: X-complex alters the horizontal dimensions.
YC: Y-complex alters the vertical dimensions.
