In poker, the probability of each type of 5-card hand can be computed by calculating the proportion of hands of that type among all possible hands. This Texas Hold'em calculator computes odds and win rates using simulation for up to 8 opponents (9 players). Odds and win rate is given for Pre-Flop, Flop, Turn and River... The calculator also gives you clues about expected (+EV and -EV) so you have everything in hand to make the best decision and earn a lot of money !

How to read Expected Value

Expected Value (EV) is the average return on each dollar invested into a pot. If a player can expect, given probability to make more money than he or she bets, the action is said to have a positive expectation (+EV). Conversely if a bet or a call will, according to probability, likely result in less money being returned the action is said to be negative (-EV).

The calculator give you the pot / bet ration that lead to a neutral EV. So if the ratio is greater than the one displayed it will be more than likely that the bet will earn you money on the long term.

If you hand is 5♠ 6♠ and the board is 7♠ 8♠ A♦ in a head to head opposition, you have around 60% to make it. The Neutral EV (EV0) is then at 0.70 meaning that the pot should be greater than 0.7 x bet to gives you a positive expectation (+EV). Do not bet more than $15 for a pot of $10. Also, watch your bankroll as you wont make it each time !

probability of having a pair, two pairs, 3 of a kind, a straight, a flush, a full house, 4 of a kind or a straight flush are calculated using a huge number of simulation of poker hands for each opponent if exact computation is not possible
