Infood app will help you decide if a given food is suitable for you or not, based on your personal preferences.
Reading labels all the time may be annoying and exhausting.
We understand that everyone’s lifestyle is different so you can choose which ingredients you want to be warned about.
Just scan the product's barcode and Infood app will let you know if any of the ingredients you configured is found on the label.
If a product is not found in our database you can easily add it.
Just take a picture of the product, add it's name and then take a picture of the ingredients. Infood app will automatically extract the ingredients from the picture. As it may make mistakes while reading fro the picture please check and correct the ingredients.
You can add ingredients in many languages, Infood app will let you know what is the detected language. If you see that the language detection is wrong you can correct it by choosing the proper language.
If possible always add ingredients in English. This will help us provide you with more accurate results.
Our advice is to always select all ingredients from the Additives category. We will let you know which of them are safe in a green color, the suspicious ones in yellow and the dangerous ones in red.
The app is customizable and may be used to scan foods if you have allergies or food intolerance, for healthy eating, when following different diets or if you just want to be aware what's in your food.
