BikeRoll is a bike route planning website. This app launches it such that you can access all its functionalities.
BikeRoll uses Google Maps as its base component and it supports both road bike and mountain bike routes. Why you should use it?

First of all, it has a simple and user friendly design. The goal was to make bike route planning as simple and easy as possible. After opening the app, a random route is always generated that is just waiting to be explored. Then you can start planning your route without the need for any login.

BikeRoll is completely free, there are no hidden costs, no different user plans, and no ads.

Most of the bike route planning applications neglect the importance of the altitude map. BikeRoll has a suggestive color-coded elevation profile. Different slope ranges are shown with different colors (e.g., hard climbs are red while flat segments are blue). Thus, just by taking a quick look at the elevation profile you can assess its overall difficulty fairly easily. Furthermore, the slope color limits can be adjusted to your needs.

After a route is planned, it can be saved and accessed anytime, anywhere.

Once a route is planned and you start biking, an important challenge is to stay on the track (especially for mountain bike routes). BikeRoll offers real-time position tracking based on your GPS coordinates. Just open the route you are riding and your actual position is shown on the map, thus, you can see if the everything go by the plan.

The weather always plays a crucial role when planning bike rides. BikeRoll shows an instant five day weather forecast for the area where the route is planned. There is no need for additional search or any clicking and the chance of being caught in a rain is minimized.

BikeRoll is available on several languages and new languages are planning to be added. This feature may not be appreciated that much by English speakers but for those who do not speak English it can help a lot.
