If you've just updated your device with the Android 5.0 Lollipop, you might be wondering where to find silent mode, which turns off notification sounds and vibrations but keeps alarms and similar on.
Whether it's feature or bug, Android L doesn't have a shortcut to turn on silent mode, but with Silent Mode Lollipop you can do it!

Silent Mode Lollipop allows you to switch from Normal Mode to Silent Mode in a tap, directly from the notification bar.
Thanks to a simple trick, this app will work with any version of Android, including Lollipop.

HOW TO USE
Tap the Lollipop to change Mode:
Green Lollipop Normal Mode.
Red Lollipop Silent Mode.
This special Silent Mode can be turned off only by this app (increase the volume does not affect).

FEATURES
Extremely simple!
Awesome design!
Works on Android 5.0 Lollipop!

◢ F.A.Q. ◣
✫ My device still vibrate!.
★ Go to Settings > Sounds & Notifications and deselect "Also vibrate for calls". In this way the vibration will be active only in vibration mode.
✫ Notifications of some apps keep sounding!.
★ Unfortunately, it's impossible to silence third-party apps that use its own sounds. Before Lollipop it was possible with the officer silent mode, but now you can do it only by setting the priority mode.

I know that Silent Mode Lollipop offers little, but it's the best I can do and, modesty aside, it's more than Google and major developers have done so far.

PLEASE: If you find a problem, don't rate with few stars, but expose it in a comment or email to MerkCoolApp@gmail.com. I will reply within 48 hours!
if Silent Mode Lollipop was helpful, I kindly ask you to support my work buying the paid version (50 cent - rounding and excluded taxes)... or at least a nice review ;)
