This application has several camera / photography calculators useful to
photographers. It has Angular Field of View (FoV), Dimensional Field of View
(FoV), Parallax Error in Panoramas, and Mosaic Panorama calculators. These
calculators help photographers not only in taking perfect measurement for a
spectacular photograph, but it also helps them in determining and packing the
right lenses and gears for a light photo-shooting trip. For instance, the
Dimensional Field of View calculator helps you determine what lenses a
photographer pack by doing some pre-calculation before starting the trip.
Photographers (with help of Google Map or other map services) can estimate
distance of the subject and its size from their shooting position, and realize
how much field of view will be afforded with a selected lens. Smaller FoV will
help them pack a wider lens instead of having to stitch pictures and sort
through parallax error in the panoramic photos.
