Brilliant backlight. Smooth glass surface. 10” diagonal screen. The Android Tablet is a perfect portable tracing table. All it’s missing is the right app. TraceTablet gives you a blank white surface to use, as well as ,a Hermann Grid, the full alphabet and numbers zero through nine to help small children with their letters or even adult artits for precisoin and accuracy. The application also includes a variety of shapes, a sudoku grid, a line that runs along the x axis and a line that runs up and down the y axis, these shapes and grid lines can be used as guidelines when tracing or while teaching children shapes, numbers, and letters. By using this application, this will save you time by not having to print out worksheets for the children to work on and an unlimited amount of templates can be added if requested by the users.
How did TraceTablet come about?
One day while designing a logo, I needed to trace a drawing, but I didn’t have a tracing table. So I grabbed my Android Tablet. It worked pretty well, but the backgrounds I tried — empty internet windows, flashlight apps — had too many input elements on the screen. What I needed a blank white screen with no touch areas that didn't drain my battery in two minutes.

A few tips on using TraceTablet.
Jack your brightness up to 100%. Using notebook paper is fine, but proper tracing paper is even better.
Please use TraceTablet with care.
Draw with a pencil or other non-permanent writing implement. Using a Sharpie on your shiny new Android Tablet probably isn’t the best idea.
