Every now and then we all find ourselves in awkward and painful 'desperate-for-toilet' situation. When things get serious, not knowing the nearby public toilets can turn a simple trip to the market into a traumatic experience. This can happen anywhere and anytime, while you are stuck in traffic or simply walking on the road. One in three people feel the urge to poo or pee after having a meal or a drink. When you are in a dire situation the worst is public defecation or you might come across filthy and stinking public toilets with no water facilities. Our country is notoriously famous for public defecation and lack of toilets. Is finding a safe and clean toilet so hard ??? We think, not so.
ToiletFirst is mapping all the public toilets in India with basic information like opening hours, type of toilet, water availability, parking facility, cleanliness rating, etc. We disagree that there are not enough public toilets in urban India. The problem is the inability to find them, mostly due to lack of information and awareness. We have plenty of shops & establishments with safe and clean toilets, apart from Sulabh Toilets. Shops and Establishments should allow non customers as well to use their toilets. ToiletFirst thinks, good toilets bring good business.
