UPDATE: If you are on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), please allow GhostSave to draw over other apps by going to Settings->Apps, Click the Widget Icon, Enter "Draw over other apps," Find GhostSave and give it permission.

Have you ever wanted to take screenshots or save videos? Here is the answer, GhostSave! Simply open the GhostSave app and it place a Ghost Button on the top right corner of your screen. Press the Ghost Button to take a screenshot.

- Single Press = Screenshot
- Long Press = Save Video (ROOT ONLY!)

All screenshots and videos are saved to your external storage /GhostSave/ folder.

Please note this app can take screenshots of anything else you want. To remove the Ghost Button, drag down your notification bar and click the GhostSave notification.

Note: All screenshots shown in the here in this Google Play Store listing were taken using this app. This application is in its Alpha stage, features and fixes will be added as continue development.

If you are rooted, any version of Android that supports this app will work.
IF YOU ARE NOT ROOTED, YOU MUST HAVE ANDROID 5.0 FOR SCREENSHOTS (Lollipop)!

FOR MIUI USERS, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:
The app needs to be optimized to work for the native MIUI root permissions. The app will not work in root mode for this reason. There are two (2) fixes for this issue currently:

1. This is for all MIUI users, simply use SuperSU as your root manager. This will allow the app to take screenshots in root modes for all MIUI and Android versions. Credits to Pelayo García Rodríguez.

2. If you're MIUI user with an Android version using Lollipop (5.0) and up, simply use GhostSave in Non-Root mode by denying GhostSave root permissions. Otherwise, use solution #1.
