The Saltwater Tides app provides the same tide predictions as the website, saltwatertides.com. The website has been providing tide predictions along the US coast line since 2000 and provides millions of predictions each year.

Version 2.0 provides improved usability. Site selection and date selection menus and wheels are improved. Also the actual tide prediction is improved for readability. Both portrait and landscape modes are now available.

The Saltwater Tides app is your source for tide, moon and sun predictions for the Gulf Coast, US East Coast and US West Coast. (Hawaii and Alaska are not included.)

You will find predictions at over 2500 locations for:
Tide heights and times
Sunrise and sunset times
Moonrise and moonset times and % moon visible.

(Note that advertising pays for app update costs.)

Version 1.0 will be supported for the foreseeable future.
Version 1.0 experienced outages August November 2016 due to the webhost doing a poor job of changing systems in the background.

The Android App crashes have been resolved with an updated app. The app fixes the menus that don't show content. The original problem of the webhost service moving servers has also been fixed in the updated app.
The revised app will at times display a mostly blank/white screen while information is being calculated. Give it a few seconds to finish.
Thanks for your patience.

Late in August 2016 we experienced a hard crash for saltwatertides.com. The webhosting firm decided to move directories on us. The Android app has been a problem every since then. If it works, leave it alone.
If it does not work, please use the website in the meantime. Reinstalling the app does not work The original app coders have been hired to work through the issues. All of our attempts to fix the problem have been unsuccessful.
Thanks for your patience.
