Disguise, distort, pitch shift, and scramble your voice! Phantom I/O is a
professional-grade voice changer and voice scrambler/descrambler.

Change pitch and timbre in real-time. Make your voice sound older, younger,
higher, lower, robotic, ghostly, alien, or nervous. You have complete control.
Works with live and recorded audio.

Create and decode secure voice conversations and secret messages. Keeps
eavesdroppers from listening in. Phantom I/O will scramble your voice into
garbled sounds that can only be descrambled by another Phantom I/O app.

USER INSTRUCTIONS:

To adjust pitch and timbre -- uncheck Scrambler mode, choose Live mode and
adjust the Pitch, Tremolo, and Vibrato sliders. You can also record a message
and adjust these settings while in Play mode.

To scramble your own secure message -- check Scrambler, choose Record, and you
can record up to 30 seconds of audio. Phantom I/O automatically scrambles the
message. The scrambled message can then only be descrambled by another Android
device running the Phantom I/O app. Choose Play to play back the scrambled
message.

To embed a hidden message in a video or audio track, simply play the scrambled
message from your Android device during your recording session. As long as the
scrambled audio is loud enough to be heard in your recording, it will be good
enough for your viewers/listeners to descramble.

To descramble messages from videos, audio tracks, or other Android devices --
This takes a device or computer to play the scrambled message ("player") AND a
device running Phantom I/O to descramble it ("descrambler"). Make sure the
Scrambler option is selected on the descrambler, plug in a pair of headphones,
and select Live mode. Hold the descrambler up to the player's speakers and
listen through the headphones. When you play the scrambled message, the
original message will be clearly heard through the descrambler's headphones.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem: Loud feedback noise when in Live mode

Solution: Try selecting Earpiece instead of Speaker. This option doesn't work
on all devices, so if you still hear the feedback sounds, you'll have to use
headphones to use Live mode.

Problem: Message is not scrambled when played back

Solution: Make sure Scrambler option is selected.

Problem: Descrambled message sounds the same as scrambled message

Solution: Make sure Scrambler option is selected.

Problem: "Whooshing" sound

Solution: Move the pitch slider to a different settings, then back to the
previous setting. This will reset the pitch shifter.
