moveUP is a new rehabilitation method developed for patients after hip or knee prosthesis.

Via the moveUP application you will be guided at home by a team of moveUP physiotherapists and doctors who are in close contact with your treating doctor and hospital.

During the entire process - before and after your surgery- your evolution will be monitored via the moveUP application and a smart wearable. You can also be in daily contact with your team of care providers via a built-in message function, also during the weekend. The exercises that you do independently at home are presented each day through clear instructions and videos. These are adjusted based on your evolution, your registered activities and your pain scores.

Before surgery, information is exchanged via the moveUP app and smart bracelet to gain better insight into your profile, pain level, activity and expectations. This information is important to optimally coordinate the care process with your personal recovery after surgery.

From the moment you come home after your surgery, your moveUP physiotherapist will prepare a personal rehabilitation schedule with daily adapted exercises, tips and guidance. A moveUP doctor also monitors your medical condition and provides advice on medication and wound repair. The advantage of moveUP is that you can rehabilitate from home under the supervision of a specialized rehabilitation team.

Your surgeon has access and control over your evolution at all times and also receives interim reports on how the rehabilitation is going.

Rehabilitation via moveUP takes on average two to three months, depending on the speed of recovery, your medical profile and physical condition.

You can always contact us with your questions or concerns via the built-in message function before and after the surgery.
