How many times have you looked for an object and you have not found it (at least
when you needed!!) why did you forget where you had put it?
This application is used to solve this problem.
The main purpose is to provide a tool to remember quickly where objects or things
have been placed. The fields of application go from finding precious objects
materially or emotionally to the garments of clothing from the previous season.
In between you can put any other what comes to mind.
For each Object, important for you, you will associate a Name and
the Place where you are going to keep it; moreover, optionally, you can combine
a Photograph, any Additional Notes that can be useful at a distance of
time and a Category to which the object belongsto (for example: jewels, money, etc...).
Places and Categories can be created at the same time an object is listed in the application.
Places, Categories and Photographs can also be changed to allow the
tracking of the changes that have occurred over time as far as the place of the object
itself.
Objects can then be searched by filtering by Name, Place and Category.
A convenient drop-down list is updated as you type in the box
text the name of the Object and / or the Place and / or Category allowing you to
select immediately what you are looking for; it is the same as when you use a search
engine as Google and you're writing what you're looking for.
Pressing, then, the search button will appear a list of objects that are
consistent with the search parameters set by you. For example: if you have typed
in the Location field "Bedroom" you will be shown a list of all objects you
previously listed and placed in the "Bedroom" place.
By pressing on the single element of the list you can view the details
of the Object (Name, Place, Address of the place, Additional Notes,
Category and Photography).
Data export and data import functions are also present which are particularly useful in the case in which, for example, the device on which the data have been stored must be replaced; in cases like this it will be sufficient to install the application on the new device, activate the Data import function and, simultaneously, on the old one device activate the Export data function: in a few seconds data and any associated photographs will be transferred to the new device.
The whole procedure is protected by a PIN access that can be modified
whenever desired; in addition, in order not to forget PIN, the application takes
into consideration, when the PIN is created or changed, to send a reminder for it
to remain tracked over time; the information is stored on a different
device from the one where the application is executed.
