About the game:
Knotty Numbers is a number based game with an objective of lining up the jumbled numbers from smallest to largest. The numbers are presented to the user in a grid with one blank tile. The blank tile can be used as a holding bay in the process of arranging the numbers. Each puzzle presented to the user is verified to be solvable.
Audience:
The game can be enjoyed by everyone aged from 8 to 80. The objective is based on basic principle of arranging numbers in ascending order. The simplicity of the aim attracts everybody to the game.
Features:
The game comes with customisable options, making it more attractive.
Modes
There are 3 modes and 3 levels of difficulty in the game –
1. Moves Challenge – can be played at easy, medium or difficult level. It challenges the user to finish the game in a certain number of moves
2. Time Challenge – can be played at easy, medium or difficult level. It challenges the user to finish the game in a certain number of seconds
3. No Challenge – can be used for practising or by the younger audience. This mode has no restriction on number of moves or time taken to solve a puzzle
Scores
Scores are kept separately for each mode and level. User is presented with the moves or time taken for the top 10 games. There is also a summary of the scores which presents the win rate and total number of games played till date.
Themes
User can choose to play in one of the 3 themes in the game –
Classic – a combination of classic blue grid and orange numbers
Modern – a combination of vibrant red grid and green numbers
Rustic- a combination of rusty brown grid and grey numbers

How to play:
Users have to slide the numbers on to the blank tile in order to arrange the numbers from smallest to largest. Each game has an option of ‘restart’. Users can keep track of the time and moves used from the upper information bar. The lower information bar shows total number of moves/time available. Once the game is successfully finished, user is presented with a bouncing smiling emoticon and a congratulations message with victory music background. Tapping the board again, brings up the sub menu for – going to home screen, restart current game or starting a new game. Thus user can go on to play another game, or check scores from the home page.
