To use this application, you need either connect the wired headset or Bluetooth Stereo Headphone. I recommend you using Bluetooth Stereo Headphone for better performance. Please be aware it is Bluetooth Stereo Headphone rather than Bluetooth Headphone. When the headphone is paired and connected with your phone, the Bluetooth icon at the top right of the screen should be on. After you press the sound icon at the center of the screen, you should be able to hear the sound from your headphone.
To get better performance, you can put the phone between you and the people you are talking with. The application is going to catch the sound around it, then transmit the sound to your ear via headset.
The working distance between you and your mobile device totally depends on your Bluetooth Stereo Headphone. In theory, it could be at max 10 meter. This means you could hear the talk in another room. Therefore, you should not use this application for spy purpose.
