** Please take the time to rate this app - thanks **

Since version 1.4 was released, we have been constantly thinking about new
improvements, to enable our app to interact and better cater with your needs
more. And now we are pleased to announce the RELEASE OF VERSION 1.5, and have
started work on version 1.6 already!!

Version 1.5 Updates Include:

1. Improved application stability.

2. A number of bug fixes.

3. State management – the app knows what it’s doing even when paused by
another application.

4. New fresh images and the addition of a splash screen to give a more
professional look and feel.

5. Updated menus – with the addition of images.

6. A new settings screen, allowing you more control of the application. You
can now enabled and disable the core features at will.

7. Enables the speaker phone of option automatically when you accept a call
whilst driving.

8. Added a new menu option that will read aloud and display your phone number
on the screen, for those days when it’s hard to remember your number. However,
this feature is not supported by some SIM cards.

9. **** THE ADDITION OF A BRAND NEW FEATURE – the ability to send SMS txt
messages in response to those received, whilst on the move. This feature can
be used in one of two ways, either manually when you tap the return sms button
on the screen, or automatically, when the phone will automatically reply with
a user defined txt. The app is also capable of determining whether to reply to
a txt or phone call *****

10. A number of tweaks to the main screen, whilst maintaining ease of use.

SMS Reader was primarily designed for motorists, and aside from reading your
SMS messages, it was implemented with a minimalistic concise user interface,
to allow drivers to be able to gain an understanding of who sent the message,
and the application status, if need be. Also, the user interface consists of a
large button that allows the user to easily activate or deactivate the
service, at the touch of a button.

Installation details:

Once installed, the SMS reader will check for the presence of the txt to
speech library. If the library is not present on your device, you will be
directed to the market place to download, and install it. The library is free,
and once installed it needs to be run, in order to enable it on your device.
Once enabled, SMS Reader will be able to start reading your SMS messages. Some
phone come with the library pre-installed such as the Nexus S, and thus the
application will start speaking immediately.

Brief User Guide:

Once installed, if the library is present, as mentioned above, the app will
announce itself, with the status of the library.

1. As shown in the screen shots, you will notice an area at the top of the
screen, which displays the person txting you. It initially starts with the
words ‘Mobile Number: Not Set’. However the app will take care of this and no
user intervention is required.

2. A picture of a speaker in the centre of the screen, which if pressed will
disable / enable the app depending on its status. The app will also announce
its current status, when pressed.

3. At the bottom of the screen, you will notice to green txt items. The first
displays the status of the app / caller id, and the second, displays a count
of the number of messages read, since the app has been running that day.

Drive in the peace of mind, knowing that you will hear all your SMS messages.

Enjoy!
