WE HAVE RESOLVED THE ISSUES REGARDING COMPATIBILITY AND THIS APPLICATION
FREEZING ON A SMALL NUMBER OF DEVICES.

This application has been designed as an aid for learning the anatomy of the
limbs of domestic species. The app contains material which would be covered in
a module on the anatomy of the locomotor apparatus and is aimed at students of
veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing, veterinary technician, veterinary
science, anatomy, animal science and indeed practicing veterinarians,
veterinary nurses, veterinary technicians and all people who work with animals
or anyone who has an interest in learning about them!

This application contains dissection specimens and photographs of osteological
structures using the canine and bovine animals as examples. Although some of
the material will refer directly to these species, much of the material refers
to a generic species. However species differences are pointed out in areas of
particular importance.

We believe that anatomy can be a difficult subject to learn so we have tried
write this app in a way that will allow the user to understand and remember
important aspects of the anatomy of the limbs by giving bite size nuggets of
information, rather than large paragraphs of hugely detailed and irrelevant
information. The app contains many 'muscle tables' which state the name,
origin, insertion, innervation and function of muscles which are seen in
accompanying pictures, making your study as easy and as enjoyable as possible.

Features include:

-Discussion of the major bones, muscles, tendons and nerves of the limbs.
-Dissection images.
-Photographs.
-Radiograph of stifle joint.
-Clinical conditions with a strong anatomical basis.

Once you feel like you know your stuff, why not test yourself with another of
our app 'Vet Anatomy of the Limbs Quiz'?

We hope this application helps you with your study of veterinary anatomy.
