TrygDrive is an app for use together with Tryg’s car insurance – it’s your chance to earn a bonus by driving safely. Also, you get access to your own personal driving coach, offering tips on how to improve your driving skills as well as driving statistics.

TrygDrive makes it safer, more fun and cheaper for you to own and drive a car.

How TrygDrive works

With TrygDrive, you pay less for your insurance policy, the better and more safely you drive. You pay your normal premium, and every time you go driving, you have the chance to earn bonus points. The bonus points are paid out once a year in connection with the renewal of your policy. After each car journey, the app will tell you how you scored as well as the number of bonus points we have transferred to your account. The scoring system is in stars from 0-5 stars, where 5 stars is the best score. If your score between 5-2,3 stars you drive with low risk of accidents and will be rewarded by receiving points to your account. 2,3-1,8 stars is neutral and if scoring 1,8-0 stars we deduct points from your balance. You are therefore able to directly impact the size of the bonus which you will receive at the end of the year – up to 30%!
In order to earn the bonus, you must buy your insurance cover at www.tryg.dk or call Tryg’s customer service on tel. +45 7011 2000. We will then send you a Telematic dongle, which you must plug into the OBDII port in your car (you can find your own car here: obd.trygdrive.dk ).

- You receive a detailed overview of all your car journeys
- You get a bonus overview broken down by journey, day, month and year
- You get an accident guide, direct access to submitting claims and requesting roadside assistance, if required
- You get a digital driving coach giving you feedback on you driving behaviour.
- Extra features: See where your car is parked, overview your CO2-reduction in drivers behaviour, compete with other costumers in being the smartest driver right now.

Note: Continuous use of GPS in the background can increase battery consumption.

Note 2: Location services are used for map and for an even more fair analysis of your drive, etc.
