In this app, we have included Durood e Taaj, Durood e Tanjeena, Durood e Maahi and Durood e Naariya and the benefits of reciting these Duroods.
As a Muslim, we have a firm belief that Muhammad (SAW) is the last messenger of Allah and should recite as many Duroods as possible as it is a way of expressing love to the last messenger of Almighty Allah, Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). Durood e Taaj and the other Duroods mentioned above are a way of expressing love for the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and are considered being a very effective cure for several ailments, for example, Durood e Taaj has been known to be effective in curing black magic. However, the benefits associated with these Duroods are totally experienced-based as these Duroods were not established through the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The salutation of the Crown (Durood e Taaj) was compiled many years after Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and his companions. As it is not established through the Sunnah of the Prophet (SAW), it is only permissible to recite if one believes that it is not established through Sunnah. The benefits of this Durood are of two types; one would be related to this world, other related to the hereafter. It is completely fine to consider it beneficial in this world, but one cannot specify a certain reward for hereafter as this was compiled and drafted many years after Holy Prophet (SAW) and we don’t know what rewards it holds as Prophet Muhammad (SAW) himself did not say anything about this. However, we can send Salam and blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in any way as long as it is in line with the tenets of Islam and does not involve “Shirk” in any way.
The verses must be interpreted correctly. It must be a firm belief of a believer that only Allah is the averter of affliction, disease, drought, illness and pain. It is the basic understanding of Islam that we ascribe all actions to Allah, the most powerful. If one has a firm belief in this concept, there is nothing wrong with reciting it. The Holy Prophet (SAW) must be believed to be a means (Wasila) of averting affliction, and that the power to do so lies only with Allah.
There are countless virtues and benefits of reciting Duroods as the purpose is purely to express love to the last messenger of Allah. Allah himself asks believers to send peace and blessings upon the beloved Prophet (SAW) as much as possible. As a Muslim and a believer, we must learn different ways to send blessings upon our beloved Prophet (SAW) and please Allah Almighty, the creator of this universe and the all-powerful.
